About BYOC Premises – Genesys Hardware Solution

Deprecation Announcement: On March 1, 2025, Genesys announced that it will end support for the Genesys Cloud BYOC Premises – Genesys Hardware Solution effective December 1, 2026. This date marks the End of Support (EOS). The BYOC Premises – Genesys Hardware Solution Edge is a premises-based device that was sold by Genesys though our hardware partner Arrow. The BYOC Premises Edge device came in a number of configurations designed to support different-sized organizations. While Arrow no longer sells the BYOC Premises – Genesys Hardware Solution Edge devices, Genesys will continue to support these devices until the EOS date.

Edge Standard v3

The third generation of the Edge Standard runs on a custom HP server with a more robust server chassis than the v2 and offers the enterprise-class power and storage that large customers need.

Edge Mini v2

The second generation of the Edge Mini runs on a custom HP server with a more robust server chassis than the v1 and offers more power and storage.

External LCD

Usage charge

When you put a BYOC Premises Edge in service, you will begin incurring the monthly hardware usage charge that is specified in your Genesys Cloud contract.
