With the BYOC Premises – Customer Hardware Solution, you build an Edge yourself using hardware that you acquire from your preferred vendor. The Customer Hardware Solution Edge device comes in two configurations-each designed to support different sized organizations.

Bill of materials

To construct a Customer Hardware Solution Edge, you’ll need to work with your preferred hardware vendor to acquire the exact hardware components specified in the Bill of Materials. The Customer Hardware Solution Edge device comes in two configurations, Large and Small.

Usage charge

When you put a BYOC Premises Edge in service, you will begin incurring the monthly hardware usage charge that is specified in your Genesys Cloud contract.

Set up a Customer Hardware Solution Edge

After you have acquired all of the required hardware components, you can build your Customer Hardware Solution Edge device. As you do, be sure to check your firewall ports.
