About BYOC Premises

Deprecation Announcement: On January 20, 2024, Genesys removed the ability to deploy the Genesys Cloud BYOC Premises – Customer VM Solution. This date marks the End of Support (EOS). Using the BYOC Premises telephony connection option uses a premises-based Edge hardware device to connect SIP Trunks from a third-party carrier to Genesys Cloud. Genesys provides you with three types of BYOC Premises hardware solutions to choose from. Each of our BYOC Premises hardware solutions yields a premises-based Edge device. Regardless of which BYOC Premises hardware solution you are using, you will need to configure the premises-based Edge device.
