A site is the home of a set of phones. The site defines the call classification rules and outbound routing rules as well as the telephony properties for dialing.

Create a site

Creating a site is different for each of Genesys Cloud’s telephony connection options 

Global Media Fabric configuration

When you create a site and are using WebRTC and Global Media Fabric you can choose media regions and specify a Relay/TURN Behavior.

Number plans

Genesys Cloud automatically provides default number plans; however, you can create a custom number plan.

Outbound routes

Genesys Cloud automatically creates default outbound routes. You can also create new outbound routes or modify existing ones.

Simulate calls

Genesys Cloud provides a tool for telephony admins to test that a site is correctly configured to dial numbers and SIP addresses.
