Prerequisites
  • Conversation > One Number Fax > Receive permission
  • Conversation > Fax > Send permission

Genesys Cloud sends you an email notification when you receive a fax directly and after you send a fax. 

To see the fax:

  1. Open your email.
  2. At the bottom of the email, click VIEW MESSAGE.
    Note: If your organization limits PII in fax and voicemail email notifications, the VIEW MESSAGE option is unavailable.
  3. Open the .pdf file attached to the email message.
    Note: If the attachment is over 5 MB, Genesys Cloud does not attach it to the email. You can still view the fax in Genesys Cloud.
