Configure Genesys Cloud campaign settings

Note: This article applies to Genesys Cloud for Salesforce and CX Cloud from Genesys and Salesforce integrations.

The global settings for the Campaign Management integration include the Genesys Cloud Campaign Settings section. In this section, you configure how long the integration retains campaign data and when Genesys Cloud reconciles campaign data to records in Salesforce.

  1. On the Setup Home page in Salesforce, click the App Launcher icon.
  2. Search for Campaign Management in the Search apps and items box and open the app.
  3. In the navigation menu, select Global Campaign Settings.
  4. Under Genesys Cloud Campaign Settings, enter a number for Campaign Retention Period.

    This number is the length of time in days that the integration retains campaign data such as campaigns, campaign schedules, and contact lists in Genesys Cloud for inactive or completed campaigns. By default, the retention period is 90 days and the maximum period is 730 days (two years).

    Note: This setting only removes campaign data from Genesys Cloud. It does not remove campaign data from Salesforce.
  5. Enter a number for Campaign Reconciliation Period.

    This number is the length of time in hours after campaigns end that Genesys Cloud waits to reconcile data to campaign and campaign member records in Salesforce. The reconciliation period can be set between 1 and 48 hours. By default, this period is set to 2 hours. For more information, see Reconciliation of campaign data.

    In the following example, Genesys Cloud is set to reconcile data in Salesforce 33 hours after campaigns end.

  6. Click Save.
