The MWI configuration features a check box that you can use to either enable or disable MWI notifications. Selecting the check box enables MWI notifications with a subscription. Clearing the check box disables all MWI notifications.

You can configure the MWI notifications for individual phones or on the base settings for a group of phones.

To enable MWI notifications:

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Telephony, click Phone Management.
  3. Click the Phones or the Base Settings tab.
    • On the Phones tab, select a phone in the Name column. The Edit Phone page appears.
    • On the Base Settings tab, select a base setting in the Name column. The Edit Base Settings page appears.
  4. Click Interface.
  5. Select the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) check box.
