Configure the Message Waiting Indicator setting
The MWI configuration features a check box that you can use to either enable or disable MWI notifications. Selecting the check box enables MWI notifications with a subscription. Clearing the check box disables all MWI notifications.
You can configure the MWI notifications for individual phones or on the base settings for a group of phones.
To enable MWI notifications:
- Click Admin.
- Under Telephony, click Phone Management.
- Click the Phones or the Base Settings tab.
- On the Phones tab, select a phone in the Name column. The Edit Phone page appears.
- On the Base Settings tab, select a base setting in the Name column. The Edit Base Settings page appears.
- Click Interface.
- Select the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) check box.
