Manage an inbound message route

Prerequisites

The following permissions:

  • Architect > Flow > Add
  • Architect > Flow > Edit
  • Architect > FlowView
  • Routing > Message > Manage
  • Routing > Queue > Add, Delete, Join, and View 

Manage inbound message routing configurations from the Message Routing page.

You can change the inbound message flow associated with a message route. You can also add, update, or remove provisioned inbound numbers or addresses associated with the flow. 

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Routing, click Message Routing.
  3. Under Inbound Message Flows, click the flow you want to edit.
  4. Make your changes and click Save.

Note: A message appears, indicating that Genesys Cloud saved your changes. The entry can take a few minutes to update in search results.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Routing, click Message Routing.
  3. Select the check box next to the entry or entries you want to delete.
  4. Click More  and from the menu that appears, click Clear Associated Numbers.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Routing, click Message Routing.
  3. Search for or navigate to the flow you want to open.
  4. Click More  and from the menu that appears, click View Flow in Architect.
  5. Under Inbound Message Flows, click the link that represents the inbound message flow. Architect opens in a new tab with the inbound message flow’s configuration.
