Test your Global Media Fabric configuration

After you configure your site and trunk for Global Media Fabric, you can test your configuration using the call simulator to make sure that Genesys Cloud is using your selected media regions.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Telephony, click Sites.
  3. From the list of sites, select your site.
  4. Click the Simulate Call tab.
  5. Enter a number using the e164 format in the Enter a Phone Number or Address box.
  6. Click Simulate Call.
Note: When configuring the Global Media Fabric feature, Genesys recommends testing various scenarios and selecting the most optimized configuration for your business when it comes to balancing audio latency and call setup times. Your results may vary based on carrier location, agent location and internet connection quality.
