Create a script component template

Prerequisites

The following permissions:

  • Scripter > Script > All

While editing a script, you can select components, such as buttons, text boxes, and input fields, to save as a template. Later, you can reuse them in other scripts.

The script editor supports two types of templates. Script templates are entire scripts that are packaged for reuse. Component templates are parts of a page that you can reuse in other scripts.

  1. Click Admin.

  2. Under Contact Center, click Scripts.

  3. Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Interaction Assets > Scripts.
  4. Click the name of a script to open it in script editor.
  5. Select a component or a container of components.
  6. Click Create Component Template in the component properties panel.
  7. When prompted, fill in the Name and Description boxes.
  8. Click Create. The new template appears in the Component Template list in the script editor toolbar.
