Activity plans overview
- Genesys Cloud CX 1 WEM Add-on II, Genesys Cloud CX 2 WEM Add-on I, Genesys Cloud CX 3, Genesys Cloud CX 3 Digital, or Genesys Cloud EX license
- For administrators to configure, manage and run Activity plans:
- Workforce Management > Activity Plan > Add, Edit, View, and Delete permission
- Workforce Management > Activity Plan Run Job > Add and View permission
- Workforce Management > Activity Plan Occurrence Deletion Job > Add and View permission
Activity plans enable administrators to create plans to schedule reoccurring activities or bulk activities at the best time to support the business targets while considering the employee and facilitator availability and service goal impacts. You can create recurring activity plans for activities such as monthly 1-1s, team meetings, employee training, and annual compliance training, which can be automatically added to the schedule at the best time.
Ad hoc activity plans can be used to schedule large-scale training or briefings such as, product release training, system upgrade briefings, town hall, or all hands meetings for a specific period of the published schedule. All while respecting the business targets and service goal impacts. Activity plans can all be run on an ad hoc basis, where the plan is applied to all future published schedules or as part of the schedule generation process.
