If you’re having problems with your Customer Hardware Solution Edge and want start over with a fresh installation, you can do so by following the instructions in this article.

  1. Unpair the Edge from Genesys Cloud. For more information, see Remove a BYOC Premises Edge from Genesys Cloud.
  2. Turn off the Edge and access the motherboard.
  3. Locate the S6 System maintenance switch.
  4. Set the S6 System maintenance switch to On to Restore default manufacturing settings.
  5. Turn on the Edge.
  6. When prompted, turn off the Edge.
  7. Set the S6 System maintenance switch to Off.
  8. Perform the steps in the Set up a Customer Hardware Solution Edge article.
