Reinstall a Customer Hardware Solution Edge

Should the need arise, you reset your Customer Hardware Solution Edge and start the installation procedure from scratch. To do so, you’ll need to unpair the Edge from Genesys Cloud and then perform factory reset on the Edge hardware itself.

  1. Unpair the Edge from Genesys Cloud. For more information, see Remove a BYOC Premises Edge from Genesys Cloud.
  2. Shut down the Edge and access the motherboard.
  3. Locate the System maintenance switch. For more information, see the System board components section of the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Server Maintenance and Service Guide.
  4. Set the S6 System maintenance switch to On to Restore default manufacturing settings. For more information, see the System maintenance switch descriptions section of the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Server Maintenance and Service Guide.
