Import or export data tables
You can import and export data tables. When you import, you can choose to append or replace data during an import. You can also view recent imports and view and update import errors.
Import a data table
Notes:
- If errors exist in the import file, such as duplicate data or the wrong value type, a message informs you that the row failed validation and will not import.
- Individual rows may fail to import. However, the failure does not affect the status of other rows in the file.
To import data table rows into an existing data table, follow these steps:
- Click Admin.
- Under Architect, click Data Tables.
- Do one of the following:
- Next to the appropriate data table, click More and from the menu that appears, click Manage Imports.
- Click the desired data table and then click Manage Imports.
- Click Select Import File.
- Navigate to the .csv file of the data table to import. The system imports the list of data table rows.
- Select to append data or replace all data:
- To leave the existing rows in the data table in place and insert or update the rows included in the import, choose Append Data.
- To delete all existing rows in the data table and then insert the rows in the import file, choose Replace All Data.
- Click Import.
