Manage a data table
- Architect > Data Table > All permission
- To add a data table: Architect > Data Table > Add
- To delete a data table: Architect > Data Table > Delete
- To add a data table row: Architect > Data Table > Add Row
- To delete a data table row: Architect > Data Table > Delete Row
Manage data table configurations from the Data Tables page. For information about how to import or export data tables, or to review recent imports, see Import or export data tables.
You can add or edit custom fields associated with a data table. You can rename the data table, reference key label, reorder custom fields. You can also add or remove notes and change the order of the fields.
- Click Admin.
- Under Architect, click Data Tables.
- Click More and from the menu that appears, click Edit Table.
- Make your changes.
- (Optional) To reorder the fields, click and drag them to the new location.
- Click Save. A message appears, indicating that Genesys Cloud saved your changes.
- Click Admin.
- Under Architect, click Data Tables.
- To delete a single data table, do the following:
- Select the check box next to the entry to delete.
- Click More and from the menu that appears, click Delete Table. Alternatively, check the box next to the table you want to delete and click . A message appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
- Click Delete.
- To delete multiple data tables, do the following:
- Select the check box next to the entries you want to delete.
- Click . A message appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
- Click Delete.
With the exception of saved reference keys, you can edit information in a table row.
- Click Admin.
- Under Architect, click Data Tables.
- Next to the table you want to open, click More and from the menu that appears, click Open Table.
- Next to the table row you want to edit, click More and from the menu that appears, click Edit Row.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
- Click Admin.
- Under Architect, click Data Tables.
- Next to the table you want to open, click More and from the menu that appears, click Open Table.
- Next to the table row you want to edit, click More and from the menu that appears, click Delete Row. A message appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
- To delete multiple data tables, do the following:
- Select the check box next to the entries you want to delete.
- Click Delete . A message appears, asking you to confirm the deletion.
- Click Delete.
