Clone a version of a Messenger configuration to the draft version

  • Genesys Cloud CX 2, Genesys Cloud CX 3, Genesys Cloud CX 4, Genesys Cloud CX 2 Digital, Genesys Cloud CX 3 Digital, or Genesys Cloud CX 1 Digital Add-on II license
  • Web Deployments > Configurations > All permission
  • Web Deployments > Deployments > All permission
  • An inbound messaging flow

Before you clone a version, you can preview a version of a Messenger configuration.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Message, click Messenger Configurations.
  3. From the configurations list, corresponding to a configuration, click . 
  4. List of options are displayed. From the list, click Versions.
  5. The Versions dialog box is displayed.
  6. Select a version and click Clone to draft.
  7. Edit the new draft version as required and then do either of the following:
    • Click Save Draft to save the configuration as a draft.
    • Click Save New Version to save the draft as a new version. For example, the initial draft becomes version 1. The next saved version becomes version 2. You must save a version of a Messenger configuration before you can assign it to a Messenger deployment.
