Add BYOC Cloud or Genesys Cloud Voice to your subscription

  • An existing Genesys Cloud Voice or BYOC Cloud subscription
  • Any of the following Billing permissions:
    • Billing > All Permissions
    • Billing > Subscription > Add
    • Billing > Subscription > View

You can use Genesys Cloud Voice and BYOC Cloud together to provide you with the best of both our cloud telephony connection options. If you have BYOC Cloud, you can add Genesys Cloud Voice to your subscription. If you have Genesys Cloud Voice, you can add BYOC Cloud to your subscription.

Workforce engagement for PureConnect and Genesys Engage users

This Genesys Cloud feature is not available to users from the PureConnect and Genesys Engage platforms.

Users from those platforms can supplement or replace their platform’s workforce engagement features with the robust and scalable features available in Genesys Cloud. For more information about how customers from those platforms use Genesys Cloud features, see the Genesys Cloud Workforce Engagement for PureConnect Solution Guide and the Genesys Engage cloud User Guide.

To add BYOC Cloud or Genesys Cloud Voice to your subscription, perform these steps:

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Account settings, click Genesys Add Ons.
  3. The Genesys Add Ons page appears.
  4. In either the BYOC Cloud or Genesys Cloud Voice tile, click Activate. The Activate dialog box appears.
  5. Select the I accept the Genesys Terms of Service check box.
  6. Click Activate.

While Genesys Cloud sets up your service and updates your billing, a progress spinner appears. When the process completes, your new service is ready to use. For more information, see About BYOC Cloud or About Genesys Cloud Voice.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Account settings, click Subscription.
  3. The Billing & Usage page appears.
  4. Under Resources, click the appropriate link: either Add BYOC Cloud Service or Add Genesys Cloud Voice Service. The Genesys Add Ons page appears. 
  5. Follow the steps in the main section of this article.
