Activate gamification for your organization


Prerequisites
  • Performance Management Admin role
    Note: The Performance Management Admin role is enabled for all new organizations. However, anyone with an existing org needs to add this new role by using the  Authorization API to restore all default roles.

Turn on gamification for your organization. Upon activation, Genesys Cloud begins looking at your defined objectives and assigning points based on performance. Granting the gamification permissions adds this feature to each user’s Activity page, allowing users to track their performance and compare their scores to others in your organization.

To activate gamification, complete these steps:

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Performance & Engagement, click Gamification Profiles.
  3. Click Activate Gamification for the Organization.

Once gamification is activated, add the following permissions to the profiles of the users you want to include:

  • Supervisors
    • Gamification > leaderboard > View
    • Gamification > leaderboard > ViewAll 
    • Gamification > scorecard > View
    • Gamification > scorecard > ViewAll 
    • Gamification > profile > update
    • Gamification > profile > view
    • Ui > AgentActivity > View (Optional)
  • Agents
    • Ui AgentActivity View 
    • Gamification > leaderboard > View
    • Gamification > scorecard > View
    • WFM AgentSchedule View (Necessary for punctuality and mini schedule)
    • Coaching Appointment Participate (Necessary for coaching widget)
    • Learning > Assignment > View (Necessary for learning modules)
