The PureCloud Softphone icon should appear in the taskbar notification area on the lower right corner of the desktop. If the PureCloud Softphone icon does not appear on the taskbar, click Show hidden icons on the lower right corner of the desktop to reveal all the icons.

If you cannot locate the PureCloud Softphone icon in the notification area, restart the PureCloud softphone. See Start and display the PureCloud Softphone.

If you see a red X on top of the PureCloud Softphone icon, the phone is not connected. See Use the PureCloud Softphone Provisioning Wizard.

Note: If the PureCloud Softphone icon appears in the hidden icons panel, follow the steps for your version of Windows to show the icon on the taskbar.
