Filter contacts or organizations by divisions
In Genesys Cloud, you can search for external contacts or organizations from the Search External Contacts and Organizations box, or you can filter them from the Filter by Divisions option. The Filter by Division feature narrows the results retrieved from a simple search. When you apply the divisions filter, Genesys Cloud displays only the contacts associated to the divisions for which you have access. For example, if you have access to the Indianapolis division, you can view contacts associated with the Indianapolis division only. You cannot view contacts associated to France or California divisions.
- Click Directory > External Contacts.
- In the Filter by Division drop-down list, select the divisions for which you want to filter the contacts. You can select multiple divisions.Note: The right side of the Filter by Division drop-down menu displays the number of selected divisions.
- Add or remove divisions from the filter list accordingly. Genesys Cloud automatically filters the matching contacts and displays the results.
- To remove all selected divisions from the filter list at once, click Remove . Note: Only the divisions for which you have access appear in the list. If you do not see a division in the list, contact your administrator.
