When you check on a trunk’s status, as described in Get trunk status information, your trunk will be showing one of the following status indicators. In most cases, the status description and message are self explanatory. If you need more detail on the status of your trunk, contact Genesys Cloud Customer Care.

  • Operational and ready for calls.
  • This interface is operational and ready for calls.
  • Operational, but detailed status is not available. Enable availability or registration for more status information.
  • Operational, but detailed status is not available. Detailed status is available when a SIP server or proxy has been added and availability or registration is enabled.

Working partially

  • Not all Edge Interfaces are operational.
  • Not all interfaces are operational.
  • This interface is operational, but some SIP servers or proxies are not available for calls.
  • This Trunk is not operational on all Edges.

Error/Down

  • Registration requests are failing.
  • A registration request for this interface failed.
  • Availability checks are failing.
  • An availability check for this interface failed.
  • The availability and registration requests are failing.
  • The availability and registration requests for this interface failed.
  • An interface is not ready.
  • This Edge interface is not ready. Check the network and IP settings for this interface.
  • An interface is not connected.
  • This interface is not connected or has failed to obtain an IP address.
  • This Trunk is not operational on any Edges.

Disabled

  • Status is only available when the Trunk state is in-service.
  • All Edges using this trunk are out-of-service.

Unknown

  • An Edge is not communicating with the cloud. Status is not available.
  • Status will be available when the Edge connects.
  • This Edge is not communicating with the Cloud. Status will be available when the Edge becomes connected.
  • Status will be available when the Edge connects.
  • Status will be updated soon.
  • This Trunk is not configured on any Edges.

Managed

  • This Trunk is being managed by your provider.
