Manage Genesys Cloud embedding with the Genesys Cloud embedded clients
You can manage the embedding of Genesys Cloud in other applications with the Restrict Genesys Cloud Embedding setting in Genesys Cloud. This setting prevents other applications from embedding Genesys Cloud as an iframe. However, because the Genesys Cloud embedded clients are iframes, enabling this setting prevents the Genesys Cloud embedded clients from appearing in third-party products.
By default, Restrict Genesys Cloud Embedding is not enabled in your Genesys Cloud organization. If you use a Genesys Cloud embedded client, before enabling this setting, add the domains that the embedded clients access to the Allowed Embeddable Domain(s) list in your Genesys Cloud organization. If you do not add these domains, then the embedded clients do not work.
To enable the setting and add domains, follow these steps:
- In Genesys Cloud, click Admin.
- Under Account Settings, click Organization Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- In the Security & Compliance section, enable the setting and add domains.
- Click Restrict Genesys Cloud Embedding.
- Add domains to Allow Embeddable Domain(s).
The following table lists the domains that each Genesys Cloud embedded client must be able to access.
