How to limit contact attempts

Outbound dialing administrators can set attempt controls to prevent a phone number or contact record from being dialed too often. Attempt controls restrict the number of calling attempts to a contact record or phone number in a given day or in total. To use this feature, administrators should understand local regulations that determine compliance requirements in their area. To set attempt controls for a contact list, first configure an attempt controls entry. Then assign that entry to the contact list.

Important: If no attempt control entry selection is made, then there will be no limits to the attempts made to contact each record. This may not be in line with the compliance rules in your region.
