Administrators can use the custom SMTP server integration to send outbound emails from an SMTP server, for example, emails sent on behalf of a queue and email replies sent by agents. This option is an alternative to the default Amazon Web Service’s Simple Email Service (SES). 

Note: Organizations can install up to 20 custom SMTP server integrations.

To install the custom SMTP server integration:

  1. Log in to Genesys Cloud for the org in which to add a custom SMTP server.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. Under Integrations, click Integrations.
  4. Click Integrations.
  5. In the Search box, type Custom SMTP Server
  6. Click the Custom SMTP Server card. 
  7. Click Install.

The integration is now available to configure and activate from Genesys Cloud’s Admin > Integrations page.
