On May 15, 2024, Genesys will remove the Adobe data actions integration from Genesys Cloud and the supported documentation for the integration from the Resource Center.
Starting February 14, 2024, Genesys Cloud will no longer allow new installations of the Adobe data actions integration. Customers must migrate from using Adobe data actions to web services data actions integration.
Adobe has announced the retirement of Service Account (JWT) credentials and has introduced OAuth Server-to-Server credentials. The Service Account (JWT) authentication will no longer work after January 1, 2025. As the OAuth Server-to-Server credentials are fully compatible with the web service data actions integration, Genesys Cloud will deprecate the Adobe data actions integration by May 15, 2024.
FAQs
Am I affected?

What do I need to do before the removal date?
Between the announcement date and feature removal date, you must set up your data actions using the web services data action and use them in your Architect flows and scripts.
How can I prepare for this deprecation?
Adobe is retiring the Service Account (JWT) credentials and replacing them with OAuth Server-to-Server credentials. For continued functionality, migrate your integration from Adobe data action to web services data action integration in Genesys Cloud.
