Configure the sort order of campaign members

Note: This article applies to Genesys Cloud for Salesforce and CX Cloud from Genesys and Salesforce integrations.

You can configure the order in which Genesys Cloud dials campaign members on campaigns in Salesforce. To add campaign members to campaigns, see Add Members to Campaigns in the Salesforce documentation.

Configuration for the sort order appears in two places:

  • Campaign settings
  • Campaign members

You must first select how Genesys Cloud sorts campaign members on a campaign setting (Sort List Numerically, Sort List Ascending). Then, select what Genesys Cloud sorts by following these steps:

  1. In Salesforce, launch the Lightning app for campaign management.
  2. From the Lightning app navigation menu, select Campaigns.
  3. In the Recently Viewed section, click a campaign from the list.
  4. Under Campaign Members in the related list, click Edit next to a campaign member.
  5. Enter a value for Sort Order.

    Sort Order can be any value, such as a last name or a company name. 

  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for other campaign members.
Note: If phone numbers change on contact or lead records that are associated with campaign members, then you must resync this data to Genesys Cloud. For more information, see Resync campaign members.

After your campaign starts, you can monitor campaign activity.

  1. On the Setup Home page in Salesforce, click the App Launcher icon.
  2. Search for Campaigns in the Search apps and items box and click Campaigns in the search result.
  3. Click a campaign.
  4. Under Campaign Members, click Edit next to a campaign member.
  5. Enter a value for Sort Order.

    Sort Order can be any value, such as a last name or a company name. 

  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for other campaign members.
