Per minute granularity overview

Workforce management using the per-minute granularity setting enables customers with employees with precise schedules based on the contracted hours and reduces the need to manually adjust toward the previous 5-minute granularity limit. Per-minute granularity enables you to change the work plan configurations to:

• Generate or regenerate schedules and work plan flows.
• Enable customers to schedule employees based on contracted hours without manual correction of schedules that are produced at a five-minute granularity.
• Help customers with employee contracts that result in per minute paid daily hours to schedule correctly without rounding to the nearest five-minutes. For example, employees are contracted to 38 hours a week over five days, which equals to 7:36 paid hours per day.
• Import reporting, synchronize between Workforce Management and HRIS, and reduce the number of manual adjustments required to maintain a true view of the schedule.
