Prerequisites

The following permissions:

  • Responses > Library > All
  • Responseassets > Asset > All

You can add an image to a canned response in any of  the following methods:

Note: For Canned Responses, Genesys Cloud supports .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, and .png images for email interactions and for MMS messages.

Add an image from a URL

You can add an image with the internet address for the image:

  1. In your canned response, click Insert Image . The Insert/Edit Image window appears.
  2. Click Insert from URL.
  3. In the Source field, type or paste the web address for the image you want to insert.
  4. Optionally, add an Alternative description for the image or adjust its dimensions.

Add an image from your computer

You can add an image that resides on your computer or network:

  1. In your canned response, click Insert Image . The Insert/Edit Image window appears.
  2. Click Upload New Image.
  3. Find the image you want to use, and click Open. Genesys Cloud opens the Upload New Asset window and shows a preview of the image.
  4. Optionally, change the name of the image file.
  5. Under the image, click Upload. Genesys Cloud adds the image to your Response Assets library and inserts it into the response.

Add an image from your Response Assets library

You can add an image from your Genesys Cloud Response Assets:

  1. In your canned response, click Insert Image . The Insert/Edit Image window appears.
  2. From the list of images in your Asset Library, click the image you want to add.
  3. Genesys Cloud adds the image.
