The 9.0.0 software package contains several upgrade components and is larger than a typical release. The total duration of the file download, installation, and update can take 30–60 minutes or longer, depending on the speed of your network. Most of the upgrade duration is the software download, which occurs as a background service so you can use your phone as normal.

Note: Your device may restart several times during the upgrade.
