Configure ACD messaging for WhatsApp Messenger

All WhatsApp customers who wish to activate new WhatsApp numbers or re-integrate existing numbers that were activated already using the manual onboarding process also must go through the WhatsApp Embedded Signup Self-service Onboarding. This includes customers whose WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs) are managed by Genesys currently. This also applies to customers who are in the process of migrating to the new embedded WABAs, which they will own and manage moving forward. New customers who are migrating WhatsApp numbers from another provider to Genesys must also first create a new WABA using Embedded Signup, and activate at least one new phone number, prior to migrating any existing numbers. Please email GenesysCloudWhatsAppRequests@genesys.com to request a copy of the WhatsApp Migration Guide for Embedded WABAs.
