Prerequisites
  • The following object-based permissions assigned to the user role with the respective divisions:
    • Directory > User > Edit (to move members)
    • Architect > flow > Edit (to move flows)
    • Outbound > Campaign > Edit (to move outbound campaigns)
    • Routing > Queue > Edit (to move queues)
    •  Workforce Management > Business Unit > Edit (to move business units)
    •  Workforce Management > Management Unit > Edit (to move management units)
  • All divisions you are moving objects to and from assigned to the role that contains the object-based permissions

All object belong to a division. You cannot add an object to a division; you must move it. To move objects from one division to another, you must have the appropriate role and the appropriate division assigned to that role. 

You can move a member from one division to another from the People page, or from the Divisions page. These methods immediately move the user from the existing division into the selected division.

Move a member from the People page

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under People & Permissions, click People.
  3. Navigate to the person you want to move.
  4. Click More  and from the menu that appears, click Edit Person.
  5. Click Division & Licenses.
  6. In the Division list, begin typing the first few letters of division to which you want to move the person.
  7. Select the new division.
  8. Click Save.

Move a member from the Divisions page

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under People & Permissions, click Divisions.
  3. Click the Members tab.
  4. In the Add new person box, begin typing the first few letters of the person’s name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the member to the division.
  5. Repeat step 2 for each additional member you want to add.

  1. Click the Queues tab.
  2. In the Add new queue box, begin typing the first few letters of the queue name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the queue to the division.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each additional queue you want to add.

  1. Click the Business Units tab.
  2. In the Add new business unit box, begin typing the first few letters of the business unit name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the business unit to the division.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each additional business unit you want to add.

  1. Click the Management Units tab.
  2. In the Add new management unit box, begin typing the first few letters of the management unit name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the management unit to the division.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each additional management unit you want to add.

  1. Click the Flows tab.
  2. In the Add new flow box, begin typing the first few letters of the flow name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the flow to the division.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each additional flow you want to add.

  1. Click the Campaigns tab.
  2. In the Add new campaign box, begin typing the first few letters of the campaign name and then select it from the list. Genesys Cloud adds the campaign to the division.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each additional campaign you want to add.
