Series: Manage alerts

Deprecation Announcement: On June 7, 2023, Genesys replaced the legacy alerting capability with the new real-time alerting capability, and on April 29, 2024, Genesys Cloud will remove the legacy alerting capability. For more information, see Deprecation: Legacy alerting system.

The Delete Alert rule option enables you to delete the rule from the system. Select the checkbox next to the rule or rules to delete, or select the check box next to Enabled to select all rules.

To delete an alert, perform the following steps:

  1. In the Alert Rules workspace, corresponding to the alert rule, click More .
  2. Click the Delete icon.
    Note: You can also select the checkbox corresponding to each alert rule and delete individual rules. To delete all the rules, select the checkbox available corresponding to the Rule column in the header.
    A message shows you the number of rows that you selected. 

The Delete Alert rule option enables you to delete the rule from the system. 

To delete an alert, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Performance > Workspace > Other > Alert Rules.
  2. In the Alert Rules workspace, select the alert rule that you want to delete. You can see the number of rules selected at the top of the header.
  3. Click Delete rules. The selected rule will be deleted.
    Note: You can also click more more icon corresponding to the alert rule and click Delete alert rule alert rule delete iconto delete individual rules. To delete all the rules, select the checkbox available corresponding to the Rule column in the header.
