Invite people to your organization

Prerequisites
  • Directory > User > All permission

You can invite people to your organization with an invite link or by email.

Note: When you create new users, Genesys Cloud automatically sets their status as active whether you send invitations when you create users or wait to send invitations. If you choose to wait to send invitations to new users and manually set their status to inactive, then when you send the invitations, Genesys Cloud automatically changes their status to active.

Send or post an invite link

Send or post a link that people can use to create a password and sign in to your organization in one step. Anyone can share this link with others.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under People and Permissions, click People.
  3. Click Add Person. The Add People to the Organization dialog box opens.
  4. Click the Link tab.
    Note:  Ensure that the People can add themselves to this organization setting is enabled.
  5. Click Copy to copy the link to your clipboard.
  6. Enter the email domains that you want Genesys Cloud to allow to create accounts in your organization in the Allowed Email Domain(s) field.
  7. Paste the link in an email or post the link where members of your organization can access it. 
Note:  To prevent invitation links, disable the People can add themselves to this organization link.

Send email invites

Send login information to new users by email. The emails contain links to set a password and to view additional information in the Resource Center. Invitation emails expire 30 days after you send them.

Note:  Do not send email invitations if you have automatically sent invites when you added users. To check if you have sent an invite to a user, use the Welcome Sent column on the Manage People page .

Invite a single user

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under People and Permissions, click People.
  3. Find the person with the search or by paging through the user list.
  4. From the More Options menu, select Send Invite.

Invite all users who have not received invites

  1. Click Admin.
    1. Under People and Permissions, click People.
    2. Click Invite All at the top of the people list.
    3. Click Yes.
