Effective December 4, 2019, Genesys no longer supports Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) as a web browser to access the Genesys Cloud web app and Architect. After the support end date, Genesys Cloud may not function properly, or at all, when users attempt to access Genesys Cloud with IE 11. 

What does this mean?

Between the announcement date and end of support, you can access and use the Genesys Cloud web app with IE 11. However, Genesys will no longer address bugs or minor issues specific to IE 11. We will continue to resolve any major breakage with IE 11 until the support end date.

Am I affected?

This end of support affects you if you use IE 11 to access the Genesys Cloud web app. This deprecation does not affect IE 11 support for the following:

    How can I prepare for this deprecation?

    If you currently use IE 11 to access the Genesys Cloud app, transition to another web browser, such as the latest version of Chrome or Firefox. If you decide to use the Microsoft Edge browser, you may be able to enable compatibility mode for other sites that continue to require IE 11.
