Effective October 21, 2020, Genesys no longer supports Internet Explorer as a web browser to access the Genesys Cloud embedded clients (Genesys Cloud for Salesforce, Genesys Cloud for Zendesk, and Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework). Salesforce and Zendesk never officially supported the use of Internet Explorer.

Am I affected?

This deprecation affects you if your organization uses Internet Explorer as a web browser for the Genesys Cloud embedded clients. Sometimes, if you use Internet Explorer, you will be unable to authenticate to log in to the client. If you could log in to the client, then you might receive an in-app notification that prompts you to use a supported browser. 

How can I prepare for this deprecation?
