Custom permissions in Salesforce
Prerequisites
- Install CX Cloud, Digital and AI for Salesforce Service Cloud package.
The installation of CX Cloud, Digital and AI for Salesforce Service Cloud package creates the the following custom permissions in Salesforce:

Enables users to add attachments to emails authored using the Genesys Cloud Email Lightning Web Component. |
| CreateWebMessage Attachment | Enables users to add attachments to messages sent using the Genesys Cloud Chat Lightning Web Component. |
| DeleteEmailAttachment | Enables users to delete or remove an attachment from a draft email authored within the Genesys Cloud Email Lightning Web Component. |
| GenesysCloud User |
Controls which Salesforce users are able to use the Digital and AI package in an environment where a single Lightning app is used by users who both use and do not use CX Cloud. The permission must be removed from those Salesforce users who do not also use CX Cloud. It is required to enable the use of Digital and AI package. |
| ReadEmailAttachment | Enables users to read or download email attachments within the Genesys Cloud Email Lightning Web Component. |
| SendOutboundEmail | Enables users to send outbound emails on behalf of a Genesys Cloud queue. |
| SendOutboundSms | Enables users to send outbound SMS messages on behalf of a Genesys Cloud queue. |
