Change the default language

Set the default language to use for notification emails such as invitations to the organization and reset password links. Note: Normally, transcription is based on metadata, like the language itself, that Genesys Cloud sends to the transcriber engine. However, Genesys Cloud records and stores ACD voicemails in a format that does not support the attachment of metadata; therefore, the transcriber’s only option is to use the language from the organization’s settings.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Account Settings, click Organization Settings.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Under Global Settings > Default language, select a language.
  5. Click Save.
