About the custom IMAP integration for inbound emails

Use the custom IMAP integration to receive inbound emails. When you set up the IMAP integration, you can apply your own rules for filtering, spam control, and compliance procedures and route emails to specific folders which then Genesys Cloud receives and routes. You can mirror the email folder structure of your IMAP integration and receive the emails from specific folders. You can use the IMAP integration for inbound emails along with either default Amazon Web Service’s Simple Email Service (SES) or a custom SMTP server for outbound emails.
