In a future release, Genesys Cloud will refresh the look and feel of the External Contacts profile panel. Modernized updates and a refined layout design will improve the ability to test, deploy, and support the profile panel. The enhancements include a reduced number of clicks required to complete such tasks ad editing an organization or unlinking contacts, as well as added hyperlinks to manage contact and organization names to ease navigation and profile management. A separate tab for external organizations and standardized Genesys Cloud components, such as fields for phone numbers and SMS settings, aim to provide a more cohesive and efficient experience. This initiative does not change existing External Contacts functionality.
