Configure a premises SIP phone trunk for a Poly E Series phone

When you add any of the Poly Edge E Series phones to an organization that uses a BYOC Premises telephony connection and that has an existing Premises SIP (Session-Initiated Protocol) Phone Connections trunk, make sure that you add a specific TLS (Transport Layer Security) cipher (TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384) to the phone trunk.

Note: If you add a new Premises SIP Phone Connections trunk, then the TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 is added by default.
  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Telephony, click Trunks.
  3. Click the Phone Trunks tab.
  4. Locate and select your Premises SIP Phone Connections trunk.
  5. To expand the section, click Transport.
  6. Under TLS Settings, locate Ciphers.
  7. From the Select a Cipher list, select TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384.
  8. Click Save Phone Trunk.
