On July 17, 2023, Genesys will remove the ability to use the legacy Genesys Dialog Engine. This deprecation does not affect customers who use Genesys Dialog Engine Bot Flows.

Am I affected?

The deprecation affects customers who use the legacy Genesys Dialog Engine. The legacy Genesys Dialog Engine is no longer under development. 

What do I need to do before the removal date?

Genesys recommends that customers who use the legacy Genesys Dialog Engine should migrate to Genesys Dialog Engine Bot Flows or Genesys Digital Bot Flows, which are advanced solutions that include more features than the legacy version. Customers can migrate to Genesys Dialog Engine Bot Flows for voice bots or Genesys Digital Bot Flows for chat bots. Genesys recommends that customers export their latest bots in production to create a backup. Customers who have questions about how to export their bots should contact My Support. 

What happens after the removal date?

Legacy Genesys Dialog Engine customers will no longer see the Dialog Engine application or landing page when they log in to Genesys Cloud.
