Install the custom SMTP server integration
Administrators can use the custom SMTP server integration to send outbound emails from an SMTP server, for example, emails sent on behalf of a queue and email replies sent by agents. This option is an alternative to the default Amazon Web Service’s Simple Email Service (SES).
To install the custom SMTP server integration:
- Log in to Genesys Cloud for the org in which to add a custom SMTP server.
- Click Admin.
- Under Integrations, click Integrations.
- Click Integrations.
- In the Search box, type Custom SMTP Server.
- Click the Custom SMTP Server card.
- Click Install.
The integration is now available to configure and activate from Genesys Cloud’s Admin > Integrations page.
