Genesys Cloud’s User to User Information (UUI) support allows you to send data along with outbound calls as well as receive data from inbound calls. Genesys Cloud adheres to the IETF UUI specification for UUI data. 

General

The Genesys Cloud UUI feature applies to both inbound and outbound calls.


Inbound

The Genesys Cloud UUI design automatically makes inbound UUI available to IVR flow and Script authors by using a system variable that contains the content of the UUI.


Outbound

To send UUI data requires some trunk configuration to specify the header name and determine whether to send the the UUI data dynamically or statically.
