Free seating organization setting
Administrators can now enable free seating for their organizations. With free seating, when agents go offline, Genesys Cloud releases their stations for other agents to use. For more information, see Turn on free seating.
USB-based Edge pairing
Telephony administrators can now pair Edge devices from a secured payload file stored on a USB flash drive that delivers pairing, network configuration, proxy settings, and encryption details to the device. For more information, see Pair the Edge using a USB flash drive and Genesys Cloud. This feature requires Edge and Media Tier version 184.108.40.20682 or later.
Support for China-specific encryption certificates in Edge pairing process
The Edge pairing process now supports China-specific encryption certificates for use in locations under the jurisdiction of Chinese law. The pairing process lets administrators choose a private Genesys Cloud encryption certificate or a publicly signed encryption certificate. For more information, see Pair the Edge using a USB flash drive and Genesys Cloud. This feature requires Edge and Media Tier version 220.127.116.1182 or later.
Enhanced user selection in report editor
Contact center supervisors can now add multiple users to reports with the following searches: by user name, by group, by role, by whom they report to, and by location. For more information, see Configure a report.
Interactions view enhancements
The enhanced Interactions view includes configurable drag and drop columns, new date filters, and an improved interface for existing filters. For more information, see Interactions view.
Genesys Cloud data actions integration
The new Genesys Cloud data actions integration provides static actions and enables administrators to create custom actions that use the Platform API. The integration uses a Genesys Cloud OAuth client to authorize access to the Platform API. For more information, see About the Genesys Cloud data actions integration.
