Work with Change Daily Values and Distributions modification

The change daily values and distributions modification supports changing forecasted values for Offered and Average Handle Time (AHT) using daily and 15-minute intervals. You can view this modification in the Expanded view to ensure an effective review of the data you enter.

Note: Selection of date range and granularity within the forecast graph area are independent from this modification type. For example, you can enter modified values at 15-minutes granularity for the first day of the forecast, while viewing the long-term forecast.

Daily values

The daily values contains the following information:

  • Date column: Displays dates from the selected week using the business unit time zone. See the tooltip with the date and time corresponding to the display time zone setting, upon mouse hover on the date.
  • Original column: Displays the current forecast values (before this modification)
  • Modified column: Allows you to enter new values to apply to the forecast. You can manually enter the values, paste from another source, or load from a historical date. Use the Delete and Backspace keyboard shortcuts to clear existing values. Entered value is automatically cleared if it’s the same as the Original value.

When you enter a value in the Modified column, the row automatically advances to the next row. Click a previously edited row to review the calculated values for the minute intervals. Click any row to view the corresponding distributions for that day in minutes granularity table (available within the short-term forecast date range). If there are existing modified minute granularity values, the Modified column displays the calculated value. See the tooltip to indicate that a modified value is calculated on mouse hover. The calculated values are not part of the modification and are not saved.

Calculated based on interval values

  • Click the  Load Historical Data icon to load historical values from a source date. Set Import Interval Data to Yes if data to be loaded using minute granularity, instead of daily.
