Genesys Cloud
Recording service API metadata endpoint annotation deprecation

Announced on Effective date Aha! idea
2021-07-28 2021-11-10 -
Genesys has decided not to proceed with this deprecation. The recording metadata endpoints in the Recording Service API are re-enabled. The original intent that prompted this deprecation will be addressed differently in a future release. For more information, see Genesys Cloud Community.

On November 10, 2021, Genesys Cloud Recording Service API requests to get recording metadata will no longer include the recording’s annotations.

A GET request for the following will no longer return annotations.

 /api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/recordingmetadata
/api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/recordingmetadata/{recordingId}
