Enable server-side logging in the Genesys Cloud browser extensions
By default, logs appear in your browser console that you can use to troubleshoot issues. Typically, when you encounter issues and contact Customer Care, Customer Care requests these log files. Server-side logging allows Customer Care to access these logs directly.
To enable this functionality, follow these steps:
- Go to your Chrome extensions or Firefox add-ons.
- Chrome
- In the address bar, type chrome://extensions.
- Search for Genesys Cloud for Chrome.
- Click Details.
- Click Extension options.
- Firefox
- In the address bar, type about:addons.
- Search for Genesys Cloud for Firefox.
- Click Preferences.
- Chrome
- Select Enable Server-Side Logging.
- Click Save.
