Assign the Journey Management role to users

Prerequisites 
  • One of the following licences:
    • Genesys Cloud CX 1, Genesys Cloud CX 2, Genesys Cloud CX 2 Digital, Genesys Cloud CX 3, Genesys Cloud CX 3 Digital with the Journey Management add on
    • Genesys Cloud CX 4
  • Journey Management Creator, Editor or Viewer rol.
  • Only users with the appropriate permissions can create, edit, and view journeys in Journey Management. 

    Note: Permission changes can take a few minutes to take effect.

    When you have a Genesys Cloud CX 4 license or the Journey Management add-on for the Genesys Cloud CX 1, Genesys Cloud CX 2, or the Genesys Cloud CX 3 license, the following roles are auto-created:

    • Creator – Can create a new analysis or edit an existing one.
    • Editor – Can edit an analysis but cannot create a new one.
    • Viewer – Can view an existing analysis, but cannot create or edit an analysis.

    To assign the Journey Management role to users, follow these steps.

    1. Click Admin.
    2. Under People & Permissions, click Roles/Permissions.
    3. Click Menu > User Management > Roles and Permissions.
    4. Locate the Journey Management Creator, Journey Management Editor, or Journey Management Viewer role in the Role List.
    5. Click More and then select Change Membership.
    6. Search for the users who need the Journey Management role and select the checkbox next to their names.
    7. Click Save.

    The following table outlines the various tasks each role can perform:
