In a future release, Genesys Cloud will change the Agent and Supervisor Activity overview screens by removing the sidebar on the left side that currently displays the profile picture, username, and today’s schedule. Instead, today’s schedule will be introduced as a new widget alongside existing widgets such as Scorecard Summary and Evaluation Summary.

This change increases overall usable space on the Agent Activity homepage for both the agent and supervisor views. By removing the sidebar, the layout of the Agent Activity Overview changes to three columns instead of two, which allows for better utilization of the available space. The supervisor overview remains in a two-column layout, as the existing widgets were already designed to utilize the additional space.

Additionally, this update reduces the potential overlap of features and redundancy between the sidebar in the Agent Activity and the profile page. This change also provides more flexibility, enabling users to move the Today’s Schedule widget like any other widget.
