Automated management of phone firmware
Genesys Cloud now automatically assigns phone firmware to new phones when they are provisioned and to existing phones when they become available. Genesys Cloud now also checks for new firmware versions when phones restart. Previously, telephony administrators assigned and managed phone firmware using configuration options in phone management administration. Those configuration options are no longer available.
Telephony administrators can view a phone’s firmware version and restart the phone in the phone information panel under phone management administration. For more information, see Get details in the phone information panel.

Administrators and supervisors can now create and configure work plans similar to the way they create schedules. For more information, see Add a work plan.
