Set Language action

Available in the Flow category of the task or state editor’s Toolbox, this action allows callers to select the preferred language in which to hear prompts or display prompt text. This action is only available in task and state workflows.

Name Description
Name field Type a distinctive name for the action. The label you enter here becomes the action’s name displayed in the flow structure.

Click the arrow at the end of this list and either select the preferred language or type the language or language code.  

  • In chat, message, or email flows, you can also enter an expression or click to open the message builder menu and select from other expression building options. 
  • In call flows, the language change takes effect after the task ends. In message or email flows, the language takes effect immediately and only applies to this flow instance.
